Ronnie Milsap to perform in the Annex Theatre at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds as part of the 2018 Classic Country Concert Series!

The Winston-Salem Fairgrounds will host Ronnie Milsap with Craig Vaughn on Saturday June 16, 2018 at 7 pm, doors for the event will open at 6 pm.

Ronnie Milsap is the second act to be announced by the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds as part of the 2018 Classic Country Concert Series.  The concerts will be held in the Annex Theatre at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds.  Opening for Ronnie Milsap will be aspiring recording artist Craig Vaughn, a musician that combines extraordinary musicianship with heavy-duty fun!  His high energy blend of rock, blues, pop & acoustic music equals unforgettable moments for audiences

Tickets for Ronnie Milsap and Craig Vaughn will go on-sale Friday March 2, with tickets starting at just $20.

Ronnie Milsap is an American country music singer and pianist. He was one of country music’s most popular and influential performers. He became one of the most successful and versatile country “crossover” singers of his time, appealing to both country and pop music markets with hit songs that incorporated pop, R&B, and rock and roll elements. His biggest crossover hits include “It Was Almost Like a Song”, “Smoky Mountain Rain”, “(There’s) No Gettin’ Over Me”, “I Wouldn’t Have Missed It for the World”, “Any Day Now”, and “Stranger in My House”. He is credited with six Grammy Awards and forty No. 1 country hits. He was selected for induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2014.

After the success of the 2017 Classic Country Series the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds is teaming up once  again with 98.1 WBRF Classic Country to bring the whole series to Winston-Salem. More artists and shows to be named later.  Nearly 8,000 guests enjoyed the 2017 Classic Country Concert Series at the Annex

The Winston-Salem Fairgrounds and Annex continues to keep community entertainment a priority moving into 2018.  In addition to the Concert series the Fairgrounds will also host the Moscow Festival Ballet on Mother’s Day May 13, Newboys in Concert April 12, Sawyer Brown May 12, Colt Ford in Concert on July 6, and so much more.
