    The Arts Council will be having an Old-Time Retreat the week before the Mount Airy Fiddlers Convention at Veterans Memorial Park! May 27th through June 2nd.   2. New Kingdom Ministries is hosting a Benefit Golf Tournament that is being held for New Kingdom Ministries at Yadkin County Club this Saturday May 26th, 2018. We are still in need of quite a few players to make this benefit a success. If you or anyone you know plays Golf and will be in town for the holiday weekend please come and join us.   3. Buffalo Mountain Presbyterian Church is hosting a community event on Saturday, June 16, 2018 between noon and 3 pm. Choice of meal will be Pork BBQ or Nathan’s Hot Dogs with all the fixings plus slaw, chips and drink. We will be offering a variety of homemade desserts included with the meal… Blueberries will be picked fresh and prepared by church members. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. All proceeds from the event will be donated to local charity. Live music will be provided by Mountain Breeze and other local music groups. We hope you will plan to join us for this event. (Rain date is June 23rd) Church members will also have crafts, plants and baked goods available for sale.

    The church is located at 2102 Buffalo Road (at the intersection of Buffalo Road and Childress Road) Willis, VA.
